Bahama Waters

This is a silk crepe de chine that I made to look like the waters of the Bahamas ... or any tropical seas. The gold silk screened image is inspired by the sun dappled water.

This is a silk crepe de chine jacket that I dyed black then embellished. I like crepe de chine because it has a soft matte finish - not shiny.

Silk Crepe de Chine Jacket

This is a hand painted jacket with genuine 22kt gold leaf laminated to silk crepe de chine.

Jacket finished!

It's finished! I have silk screened the motifs and sewn the hems. Final pressing will be done in March just before the jury date for the fashion show. I have called this jacket -'Summer Nights'.

A jacket in process ...

This jacket is in process - it is made of 19mm silk charmeuse that is handpainted. I will be adding another image soon.

A doublefaced fleece coat and a silk charmeuse jacket. I don't limit myself to one particular surface design method. I like so many different looks ... and they require different means to attain.
